Rich Kligman, Superb Custom Homes founder and owner, is a third-generation builder. He grew up learning about the building industry from his father, Al Kligman, and carries on his philosophies to this day, focused on customer-oriented design, superior service, and exceptional value. Rich also carries on his values of a strong work ethic, integrity, and honesty. With over Thirty-three years of experience in Luxury Custom Home Building, Remodeling, Commercial, and Land Development in the Metro Detroit Area, Rich has built a reputation for excellence, integrity, customer satisfaction and long-lasting relationships. To better support his customers, Rich is also an associate real estate broker and provides real estate services through his brokerage firm, Encore Real Estate.
Rich is a strong supporter of the home building industry. He has served as Past President of the Home Builder’s Association of S.E. Michigan (Michigan’s largest local HBA), President of the Home Builder’s Association of Michigan(Michigan’s largest construction association), and is on the leadership council of the National Association of Home Builders. As well, he has led and participated in many committees, in an interest to strengthen the home building industry, assist those interested in careers in building, and support the needs and concerns of both custom home builders and his customers.
Rich graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelors Degree in Building and Construction Management. He is a dedicated family man who enjoys spending time with his wife, Anna, and his three children Chess, Alex, Noah.
Anna Kligman has worked side-by-side with Richard Kligman in the residential construction, remodeling, and real estate industry for several years. She oversees Administrative, Accounting, Finance, and Marketing Support functions for Superb Custom Homes and Superb Custom Remodeling, and actively participates in the Strategic Planning process. Additionally, Anna supports Superb Custom Homes and Remodeling customers with their real estate needs, as a licensed Realtor ® for Encore Real Estate, Richard’s real estate brokerage firm. Prior to construction, Anna had an accomplished career as Vice President for a local wholesale distribution company overseeing Strategic Planning, Marketing, Operations, Technology, and Information Systems. She is a graduate of Lawrence Technological University and holds a BA in Business Administration.
Anna brings a wide range of experience and enthusiasm to the Superb Custom Homes’ team. Her highest values are to live with integrity and passion in all her endeavors and to contribute positively to the lives of others. She is the devoted wife and life-partner of Richard Kligman, and loving mother to their three children.
